Lusitania was not a sister ship of Titanic she was owned by cunard not white star Titanic was a Olympic class liner her sister was olympic which was the only one of the three that salled until scrapped in the mid thirtys

To Sandri Mercado (04 Oct. 11-posting): Lusitania and Mauretania were sister ships of the Cunard Line while Olympic, Titanic, and Britannic were sister ships of the White Star Line. Olympic was the oldest, followed by Titanic, then Britannic (originally named Gigantic but change after Titanic's sinking). White Star's Olympic-class ships were built to surpass rival Cunard's in both size and luxury. Interest note: Olympic collided with a British warship 6 months prior to Titanic's sinking and its commander at the time was Captain Edward Smith. He was found to be at fault. Captain Edward Smith was also Titanic's commander and he went down with his ship.

I know that the Lusitania and the Britannic were sister ships of the Titanic. I am a Titanic fanatic. I have been even before Cameron finally discovered her location in 1988, I believe, or 87? The only other ship that I can think of that would be surviving today from RMS would be the Queen Mary in Long Beach CA. Then again, maybe there's something I don't know?
