A new Titanic building is currently pushing its way towards the sky in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter. Drive over the Lagan Bridge or along the historic Queen’s Road in the heart of the former shipyard and you will see a stunning piece of architecture coming to life. Even a year before its opening, the new Titanic visitor attraction, a £97 million partnership between private development and government money, is already beginning to excite the tourist trade and the public.

Titanic Belfast opened 2012.

I look forward to seeing it someday. The trip would be in memory of my great grandfather, great aunt and grandmother, the Newell family.

Fantastic - what a marvelous venture and very fitting tribute not only to the men and boys who built the Titanic and her sister ships, but also a very welcome memorial to the 1500 or so who lost their lives on that fateful night of April 14th 1912.

A lovely tribute to the lost souls, hope to visit this site one day. Had pleasure in 2009 to see the docks on my last visit. Thanks from dear friends from Australia, Dian Moore

This is so nice. A wonderful tribute, and its time has come.

I have worked in H&W for almost 40 years, I have seen some changes in that time and some have been quite sad. The new building is an outstanding and fitting tribute to skills of the industry and long overdue.
