Lagan Legacy, Belfast

LL_portrait_logo-(2).jpegLagan Legacy tells the story of Harland & Wolff in Belfast and of the +2000 ships that were built there.

Lagan Legacy plan to run several temporary exhibitions on the Titanic.

The MV Confiance Barge at Lanyon Quay is now open to the public. The Barge houses a vibrant interactive museum, which combines touch screens, interpretive panels and interactive displays and a multi-use space which can be used for temporary or visiting exhibitions, as a flexible theatre, conference, cinema and music facility.

The museum opens daily from 10am to 4pm, and is accessible to all ages. It hosts thousands of artefacts from Harland and Wolff shipyard and unique pieces of ship building memorabilia.

Guided tours are available.

Group visits and school bookings are also available and bespoke programmes can be planned.
A café is also due to open in March 2011.
