Belfast

The birthplace of Titanic where she was constructed over three years.  The drawing offices, slipway and dry dock are still available to tour and the SS Nomadic which was built by Harland and Wolff as a tender ship for Titanic and Olympic is being restored at the Hamilton Dock, right beside the former shipyard headquarters.  In the grounds of Belfast city hall there is a memorial listing the men from the city who were lost in 1912.  The Belfast Titanic Memorial was erected in 1920 and moved to its current site in 1959. There are five more names to add which have come to light since the memorial was first dedicated.
