A Night To Remember

The Walter Lord classic, “A Night To Remember” was first published in 1955. It is the riveting account of the Titanc’s fatal collision with an iceberg and the behaviour of the passengers and crew.

The successful book was subsequently turned into a film, premiering on 1 July 1958 and is often hailed as renewing the modern interest in the story of the Titanic. The film is a masterful presentation of the ill-fated maiden voyage of RMS Titanic. Historically correct in almost all aspects, all the major and minor characters are real. Although some liberties were taken with time and space, for the most part they really behaved as they are presented.
